The "Cayenna" can be defined as the spicy pepper variety most widespread in the world thanks to its adaptability to different environments.

Cultivated in our territory since a long time ago, it is native of India and it is part of the Capsicum Annuum family.

Its pungency grade is balanced, its taste is vegetable and it results palatably fresh and delicate; it can reach a maximum of 50.000 heat units on the Scoville Scale. In our regional dialect its hotness can be rendered with the expression “Coce”.

In cookery it is recommended in combination with Spaghetti, garlic and olive oil as well as with Marinara mussels or Arrosticini (meat skewers).

The Cayenna variety is distributed in 105 ml jars.
